Job Summary

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects, from the project kickoff to project completion, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame with available resources.
  • Ensure employees have tools and equipment needed to complete projects. Including scheduling equipment repairs , ordering needed tools, and maintaining communication between the field and the office.
  • Responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of construction projects. The primary role of the Estimator/Project Manager entails preparing estimates both from blueprints and on a design/build basis and managing the project from start to finish.

The Position’s Responsibilities

  • Follows and enforces strict safety policy.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the industry through regular contact with customers and distributors.
  • Continuously updates management of project status.
  • Responsible for continually promoting full range of services.
  • This position includes a high degree of customer interface including meeting with contractors and owners to discuss scope of project, budgets, performance, and close-out.
  • Is accountable for assigned projects’ scope of work, schedule, and budget.
  • Able to provide estimates for small projects or change orders.
  • Effectively manages and organizes workforce and subcontractors to meet customer’s demands.
  • Projects may include general construction systems and technologies outside of the Company’s core competency.
  • Is responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and executes.
  • Examines and reviews contracts and relays potential hazards to management.
  • Ensures compliance with internal processes.
  • Review and update project cost estimates for projects. The employee is frequently required to visit job sites and may be required to climb ladders and survey equipment located on the roof or in a mechanical and electrical equipment room.
  • Creates and makes revisions to project schedules
  • Oversees the following: preparation of material, equipment and vendor orders; recording the receipt of materials and approving payments.
  • Supervises work of project assigned staff, subcontractors, and installers.
  • Is responsible for project progress billing, collections support and monitoring.
  • Is responsible for change order management by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes and closing orders.
  • Ensures that quality standards are maintained for assigned projects.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
  • Establishes professional relationships and communicates with field support staff and customers and their representatives. Interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.
  • Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
  • Is responsible for the successful transition of warranty to the service process.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
  • Some travel with occasional overnight stays.

  • Management experience with a minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experience or 7 years of experience in the construction industry or related field.
  • Establishes and exploits good, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, key institutions other relevant bodies Must have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Good at operation MS Office system
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Honest, self-motivated, works well with team members
  • Fluent written & verbal English communications
  • Ability to lift 75lbs.
  • Clean driving record.
